Weight Loss

Oh yeah... on other news. I'm trying to lose weight both for myself and cause the doctor told me to... But mainly for myself!

Anyways... I've hovered between 238lbs and 245lbs for the last... nearly 10 years. Never really going higher then that and NEVER going lower. So over the past 3 weeks I've lowered my intake and done a bit more excercise. I'm now down to 230.2. I can't seem to break that 230 mark no matter how much I torture myself!

Don't get me wrong here either... I've weighed that much for a long time but it's not all fat. I'm "big boned" as Eric Cartman would say! My first goal is to get to 210 which is where the doc wants me. But my goal is to get around 190 or so.

And there you have it folks!

okay, trust me on this...DRINK MORE WATER!! You can even get these nifty little flavour packets to add to your water to make it taste...well...not like water. Drink as much as you can possibly stand, and then have some more. I think the magic number for weight loss is 14 cups a day...but I could be wrong.

It also won't kill you to eat some veggies ya know :) Get a grill basket for your BBQ, spray on some olive oil, and YUM!!

You can do it. I have total faith in you!!

Actually,

I did buy him some flavour packets for water and he does drink a ton at work (apparently). Also, he's finished his coke and hasn't asked me to get more. I also saw him with a *gasp* diet generic cola.

Good luck, Shaun! I know you can do it.

I drink a fair amount of water, but not 14 cups a day. Even half of that amount would be beneficial, but you are probably drinking that amount already, considering the work that you do.

Thanks Jay. I do drink quite a bit of water... sometimes enough that I make a "sloshing" sound when I walk and when I try to stop, I'm forced to take another step otherwise I'll tip over.

And the worst part is... I hate water!
