Time for an update!
To start... KATHRYN IS CRAWLING!! She just couldn't take it anymore being stuck in one spot. She crawls a bit funny but it works and she's happy with it! We're so proud of her but now we have to watch her like a hawk!
Sad news as well... pretty well everyone in our house hold is sick :( Patrick is running a fever, Kathryn has an old man's cough which wakes her up quite a bit at night, I've got a runny, plugged up nose and Deb is fighting something but is probably losing ground because of lack of sleep. All in all... a crummy situation.
Lastly, my co-workers decided to have a bit of fun at my expense today. While I was typing something on the computer, one of the guys came up behind me and slit the caller of my coveralls at the center of my neck. It looked like I was elvis because my caller was so big. Then when we were going over entry and exit into the transfer chambers 2 of the guys got behind me and tore my back down another foot. Now my coveralls are barely hanging on!! I grabbed some duct tape, handed it to the guy I carpool with and told him to tape me up... he proceeded to rip another 6". I was only left with one option. I took the tape, handed it to a civil mainter who was with us and she taped me up trying to not look embarrassed! Now normally I would be fuming mad but for some reason I just wanted to burst out laughing. Anyways... the guys kept trying to get behind me and finish the job which would have left me walking down half the building holding my clothes in my hand... not a pretty picture. So when everyone had thier back turned, I snuck out a back way and took 10 minutes to get back to my locker (I was in a high radiation contaimination zone which means I had to go through 3 sets of scanners). YEESH!!
So there's my day!
Story of a man... a man with a dream... a man who is destined to RULE THE UNIVERSE!! And I've started by creating 3 perfect little humans.

One of those days…
Well my day started off rather early. Patrick woke up about 12:30am and was up about every 45 minutes for something or other for the rest of the night. I lost count of how many times I put him back to bed. Then by the time I had to go to work at 5:40… I was totally zonked and forgot to bring my security badge. This meant I had to go to the main guard entrance at Bruce Power, have my car searched and get a visitor badge. Then once at the plant, I had to go to security yet again and get a plant access badge. This then made me late. Once I was in the change room, I had just removed all my normal clothes and was travelling to the other side of the change room to get into my radiation clothing when this fat bastard of a guy rounded a corner and hacked all over my bare chest. Didn’t cover his mouth or anything. He was about to walk away when I let him have it. I won’t go into details but some comments were made about his weight, hygiene, and pulling certain internal organs out through his anus… OK. This all took place BEFORE 7am. Onto the rest of the day. I was volunteered AGAIN to work in the crane all morning. Now this really sucks because… quite frankly I’m tired of working all damn day in the crane! My legs, back and neck get really sore from having to look down for so long. But I sucked it up and went without complaints. Blah blah blah… fast forward to lunch. As I’m coming out of the crane, my boss pulls me aside and tells me that basically all the temporary storage permits that I had petitioned to be made permanent were denied. I spent over a week in paperwork and taking engineers for tours doing this so needless to say I was a little bit frustrated! I also got an email from Deb saying the gas men were coming to hook up our stove that day which may have appeared GOOD news at first but I still had to install a cabinet and microwave above it and had hoped the stove wouldn’t be put in place until AFTER I had finished the work. It later turned out that it was easy to move but still… I worried about it all afternoon! Moving on yet again. When I got home I immediately went to Home Hardware to purchase some melamine board to build the cabinet. When I was in the parking lot some stupid bitch opened her door into me and I dropped to the ground. She basically took out my bad knee. I was SO pissed off I could barely speak and ended up just letting it slide. Then I was purchasing my lumber and the clerk screwed up and under charged me! It took her literally 10 minutes to fix her mistake!! ARG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What else can I say?? It was a horrible day!! OH!! And then my buddy had to cancel our get together for this Saturday which I had been looking forward to. (Don’t worry about it Ron… I understand! Just caught me on a bad day!).
Well there you have it… my shitty ass day in a nutshell.

Home Improvement...
Well as you all know self-improvement has always been a hobby... nay... a PASSION of mine. So I thought I would take a stab at working around the house and see if I can't "self improve" myself by regrowing various parts of my body that have been injured in the process.
Anyways... Here are some pics of the projects.
These few are the pool fence going up. The first couple are about 20 boards and the next set I just completed are another 40 boards. At this rate, I'll be lucky to get done before winter.

This picture is the gaping hole where our stove and microwave will be going. I've already moved the wiring for the stove. I'm just waiting to see the microwave and hood to see if it's direct connect or if i'm going to have to install a box.

Well it’s been awhile since I last blogged so here it comes!! Are ya ready?? HUH HUH HUH??... yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaah I didn’t think so…
Well TOO bad!!
First off… Kat is VERY close to crawling!!! She just isn’t QUITE there yet but soon enough. I think she just wants to follow her brother around all day!!
Next in line… Patrick is sleeping in his Big Boy Bed tonight!!!! It was so cute!! He couldn’t wait to go to bed tonight because he knew it was in the big boy bed! Now we’ve had this toddler bed in his room pretty well from the get-go but just used it as a change table. However, Deb decided that after he didn’t nap yet again today but instead just hopped around in his crib and sang… it was time for a change! So she discombobulated the crib after supper while I watched the kids. When I took Patrick up to bed, he hopped right in and started saying “Ni Ni”. THEN he remembered that he needed his PJ’s on so hopped out for Daddy but giggled the whole time. Lil goober. Anyways… he’s up there right now sleeping away. We’ve got a gate in front of his door so he won’t wander around too much but I don’t think it will be a problem if tonight is an accurate example of how he’ll sleep in the bed.
Lastly… Josh and Stephs’ Wedding! It’s DONE!! All over now!!! So much work for one day!!! Hehehe. I gotta hand it to them though (mainly Steph because I know she did a lot of the work)… they certainly put on a good wedding! The wedding took place at a golf course in Acton. It was supposed to be an outdoor wedding but unfortunately, it rained a lot that morning making the ground all gross… then continued to spit for the rest of the day. We DID get the pictures done outside though which is what they really wanted so it’s all good. The wedding itself was great and aside from a ring bearer doing a faceplant into the floor during the ceremonies, it went off with only the intended “hitch” (sorry… couldn’t resist). The day was long… the night even longer and it was about 2am by the time I got back to the hotel. 3am before one of the other groomsmen decided 4 budwiesers was enough for the night. Blech… I hate Bud and now my car reeks of it because I had the open case in my trunk for a day and a half! The only crummy thing about the wedding was that Deb couldn’t be there for too much of it because of Kat’s feeding schedule. But she did make it to the ceremony with Kat (who was a HUGE hit) then came back for a couple hours of the reception.
There… you are now kind of caught up. Oh wait… one more thing. I’ve started rebuilding the pool fence that I tore down a month and a half ago!! Jeez I hate leaving stuff like that!! But I just got so busy!! HONEST!! Anyways… at the rate I’m going, I’ll be lucky to have it done by snowfall!!
